The 140-grain Gold Country Viper gives the .270 Winchester hunter a true middle-weight alternative. Its lead core, copper jacket, exposed-lead soft nose and flat-base spitzer geometry make the construction easy to understand: this is the hunting-oriented soft-point path, not an open-tip precision bullet and not merely another catalog variation.
