Description
The familiar 130-grain .270 Winchester deer load when a conventional soft point is the point
Not every hunter is looking for the newest tip, the longest profile or an unfamiliar weight. Some want the .270 Winchester combination they already understand: a 130-grain exposed-lead soft point for deer hunting, assembled with new brass and clearly identified components.
Available to order. Gold Country loads this ammunition in small batches, normally shipping within seven business days.
Why this load exists
This load keeps the choice straightforward. The 130-grain Hornady InterLock is the conventional soft-point path in the current Gold Country .270 Winchester group. Its exposed-lead nose and jacketed lead-core construction distinguish it from the Berger VLD Hunting hollow-point boat-tail, while its 130-grain weight distinguishes it from the middle-weight 140-grain Gold Country Viper.
That gives the hunter a useful decision instead of three nearly identical listings: familiar soft point, Berger VLD Hunting profile, or Gold Country middle-weight Viper.

Velocity basis and rifle fit
The approximately 2,967-fps figure is derived from published load data and is not a Gold Country chronograph result. Actual velocity varies with barrel length, chamber, bore condition, temperature, components and ammunition lot.
Use only in firearms correctly chambered for .270 Winchester. Confirm cartridge fit, magazine function, accuracy and point of impact in the specific rifle before field use.
