Gold Country .277 Viper 140-Grain Soft-Point Hunting Bullets — Middle-Weight RBT, 50 Count

Description

Build around the hunting rifle you already know

A familiar rifle carries more than a cartridge designation. It carries sight-in mornings, old notes and the confidence that comes from knowing where it places a careful shot. When ordinary bullet selection narrows, the handloader still needs a way to build around what that rifle prefers.

We make this 140-grain .277 Viper as a deliberate middle-weight hunting choice. It combines an exposed-lead soft-point spitzer with rebated-boat-tail geometry and copper-jacketed lead-core construction. This is a box of 50 bullets, . It is made to order and normally fulfilled within seven business days.

Where the 140-grain Viper fits

This page occupies the middle of the current .277 progression: above the lighter 130-grain Scorpion and below the two 150-grain Viper choices. That gives the buyer a clear decision path based on weight, nose construction and base geometry rather than a list of nearly interchangeable catalog entries.

Choose the neighboring path

Step down to the 130-grain Scorpion when the project calls for a lighter open-tip flat-base bullet. Step up to either 150-grain Viper when maintaining the heavier hunting weight matters, then choose flat-base or RBT geometry.

Use an appropriate published load-data source and verify cartridge compatibility, dimensions, seating, twist, firearm condition and safe function. Accuracy and terminal behavior depend on the completed load, firearm, velocity, distance and impact conditions.
