Sometimes the useful choice is not a dramatic jump in bullet weight. A handloader may want slightly more mass than the familiar 240-grain class while keeping the Rhino family’s jacketed, exposed-lead wide-flat-nose construction.

The 245-grain .429 Rhino fills that narrow but practical position. It provides a measured step between the 240-grain Rhino and the heavier 265- and 300-grain choices.
