7-30 Waters 139-Grain .284 Rhino Flat-Nose Hunting Bullets — 50 Count

Description

A heavier flat-nose choice for the 7-30 Waters lever rifle

A 7-30 Waters handloader choosing a bullet for a tubular-magazine lever rifle has to consider nose shape as well as weight. Our Rhino supplies a .284-inch flat nose in the heavier 139-grain position of Gold Country’s 120- and 139-grain 7-30 Waters family. It gives the hunter a defined bullet for a deer or medium-game load project without treating every pointed 7mm bullet as an equivalent choice.

Choose the 139-grain Rhino when the project favors added bullet mass and a penetration-oriented hunting design. The 120-grain Rhino is the lighter flat-nose alternative. The weight difference and design purpose guide selection; the completed rifle-and-load system must be evaluated for the intended field conditions.

Fit and loading

Seating-die note: We recommend against the Lee micrometer seating die for this flat-nose bullet because its concave seating cavity can deform the nose.

The reference tables below use a generic 139-grain jacketed .284 entry. They are separate from this Rhino’s specifications and do not establish a tested load for this exact bullet.
