The Sig Sauer KILO4K is built around a different idea than traditional rangefinders. Instead of stopping at corrected distance or wind holds, it closes the loop — delivering real-time ballistic solutions directly to the aiming system.

At the heart of the KILO4K is Sig’s Gen II Lightwave DSP ranging engine, paired with onboard temperature, pressure, and humidity sensors. Every ranging event incorporates live environmental data, allowing the unit to calculate elevation and windage corrections dynamically rather than relying on assumptions.

Where it separates itself from other high-end units is BDX integration. In BDX-U (Ultralight) and BDX-X (External) modes, the KILO4K processes ballistic profiles using Applied Ballistics logic, then transmits the firing solution via Bluetooth to compatible BDX optics. The result is a directly illuminated hold point — eliminating mental math, turret dialing delays, or reference card checks under time pressure.

Multiple target and range modes allow the shooter to tailor behavior to conditions: fog, extended range, brush interference, archery, or angled rifle shots. Optical Image Stabilization improves ranging consistency at long distance, while the milling grid reticle provides reference feedback when needed.

This is not a terrain-mapping tool like the RX-5000.
It’s a shot-execution bridge, designed to collapse sensing, solving, and aiming into a single decision chain.
