Description
We selected the RCBS .444 Marlin three-die roll-crimp set for the cartridge-specific press station in our .444 Marlin Loading Room. The set separates the straight-wall rifle-cartridge work into sizing and depriming, expanding and mouth flaring, and bullet seating with roll crimping.
Three controlled operations
The steel sizing die returns the case to the required dimensions and removes the spent primer. The expander die opens the case mouth to accept the bullet without damaging it. The seating die controls seating depth and supplies roll-crimp capability when the verified loading process calls for it.
Why it belongs in the .444 Marlin room
The .444 Marlin needs cartridge-specific case control. This set gives the room a direct path from the press to the actual sizing, expanding, seating and crimping tools intended for the cartridge.
