.243 Viper 70-Grain Soft-Point Predator and Varmint Bullets — 50 Count

Description

When a more expansion-forward construction fits the hunt

Predator and varmint hunters do not all want the same bullet behavior. At 70 grains, Our Viper gives the handloader a clear construction choice: the Coyote hollow point may appeal to precision-focused or pelt-conscious shooters, while the Viper soft point may be preferred when faster, greater expansion is the goal.

We supply 50 bullets. We hand swage these bullets in small batches, made to order and normally ship within seven business days.

Why choose the 70-grain Viper

The Viper combines a copper jacket and lead core with a Jacketed soft-point spitzer, flat base. It sits beside the 70-grain Coyote hollow point, allowing construction to change without changing weight. Design intent does not guarantee accuracy, expansion, exit size, pelt condition or a field result; twist rate, velocity, impact placement, animal size and the complete load and rifle all matter.

Choose weight and construction deliberately

Compare the same-weight Coyote when the other nose design better fits the job. Compare the 75-grain Viper when a modest change in bullet mass better suits the rifle, twist and intended range.

Build around the cartridge, rifle and published data

Use current published jacketed-bullet data for the exact cartridge and bullet weight. Confirm diameter, seating depth, cartridge overall length, magazine and chamber fit, and twist-rate suitability. Verify accuracy and field behavior in the complete load and rifle.
