Description
A 145-grain 7mm middle step for the handloader who specifically wants a rebated boat tail
The 145-grain weight occupies a useful space between common 140- and 150-grain choices. This Viper pairs that middle weight with an exposed lead-tip soft point, an Ultra Low Drag spitzer profile and a rebated boat tail. It exists for the shooter whose load-development objective includes that base geometry.
Choose this version when the Viper lead tip is right and a rebated boat tail is part of the plan. Choose the 145-grain Viper LD for the same family with a flat base, or the Scorpion when a hollow/open tip is the preferred construction.
Pointed-bullet boundary: Do not use this spitzer bullet in a conventional tubular magazine where bullet tips rest against the primers ahead of them. Use only in firearm and magazine systems compatible with pointed bullets.
These bullets are hand swaged in small batches and made to order. This package contains 50 bullets and normally ships within seven business days.
This listing is for component bullets, not loaded ammunition. Cases, primers and powder are not included. Actual accuracy and terminal behavior depend on the completed load, firearm, impact velocity and target medium. Use reputable published data and verify the load in the specific rifle.
