140-Grain .284 Scorpion LD Open-Tip Bullets — Flat Base, 50 Count

Description

For the 7mm handloader who wants an open-tip 140-grain hunting bullet

The 140-grain class gives 7mm handloaders a familiar midweight from which to develop a hunting load. This Scorpion answers the next question: it provides the family’s open-tip construction in a Low Drag profile with a flat base. That makes it the direct choice when an open tip, rather than a lead tip or serrated tip, is central to the build.

Choose the Scorpion for its open-tip identity and flat-base geometry. Choose a Viper when an exposed lead-tip soft point is the objective, or the Razorback when you want its serrated-tip construction. The useful distinction is the bullet you are actually trying to evaluate in your rifle, not a broad promise that substitutes for load development.

We hand swage these bullets in small batches and make them to order. We supply 50 bullets and normally ship within seven business days.

We supply bullets, . Actual accuracy and terminal behavior depend on the completed load, firearm, impact velocity and target medium. Use reputable published data and verify the load in the specific rifle.
