We make this 220-grain .308 Razorback for hunters who deliberately want an extra-heavy .30-caliber bullet. Its traditional 6S ogive, semi-flat nose and flat base separate it from the long, sleek boat-tail match and subsonic bullets that dominate much of the modern 220-grain market.

What the Razorback treatment contributes

We serrate the jacket at the tip to help the bullet begin opening as resistance builds. Combined with the 220-grain weight and semi-flat nose, this gives the hunter a controlled-expansion, penetration-oriented alternative to both an exposed lead-tip Viper and a small open-tip Scorpion.

This bullet belongs in carefully developed hunting loads for suitable .308-diameter, high-powered rifle cartridges, including the .30-06 Springfield and other rifles whose chamber, twist, magazine and cartridge capacity can accommodate it. Weight alone does not make it suitable for every cartridge, and we do not present it as a long-range match bullet or an automatic .300 Blackout choice.
