Description

Choose the 139-grain construction before tuning the load

A 7mm rifle may produce its preferred result with 139 grains instead of the familiar 140-grain class. That creates an opportunity, but weight alone does not tell the buyer which physical bullet should anchor the project.

This Razorback supplies Gold Country’s serrated-tip hunting construction in a 139-grain .284 component. Existing product specifications describe a serrated copper jacket, lead carried to the nose, a Long-Distance ogive and a semi-flat nose. It is a different design assignment from the 139-grain Scorpion hollow/open tip.

This listing contains 50 component bullets. Cases, primers, powder and loaded ammunition are not included. Gold Country hand swages these bullets in small batches. They are made to order and normally ship within seven business days.

What this bullet helps you accomplish

It lets you build and test a 139-grain .284 hunting load around the Razorback’s specific serrated-tip construction. The shooter can establish fit and safe loading parameters around the actual component, then evaluate the finished rifle-and-load system against the game, terrain and field conditions behind the project.

Why this page exists beside the 139-grain Scorpion

Choose Razorback when the serrated-tip design is the point of the project. Choose Scorpion when you want Gold Country’s hollow/open-tip construction with a confirmed flat base. The shared diameter and weight do not make the two bullets interchangeable.

Confirm fit and prove the hunting system

This semi-flat/LD-profile bullet is not a true tubular-magazine flat nose and is not the normal starting point for a 7-30 Waters tube magazine. Gold Country’s flat-nose Rhino family fills that assignment. Razorback construction terms describe design intent; they do not guarantee accuracy, deformation, penetration or retained weight. Confirm bullet length, seating depth, cartridge overall length, chamber and magazine fit, and barrel-twist suitability. Begin with current published jacketed-bullet data for the exact cartridge and weight, work carefully, and test the finished load for the conditions in which it will be used.
