Description
A heavy .450 Bushmaster Rhino load for hunters who choose bullet weight first
A big hog may give you only a few seconds at the edge of the brush. When the animal, angle and cover are all working against a clean opportunity, many hunters want to begin with a heavier bullet—not discover afterward that they carried an ordinary general-purpose load.
Gold Country makes this 300-grain Heavy Hog load as the weight-forward choice in its .450 Bushmaster Rhino family. It is small-batch, made-to-order ammunition built around a hand-swaged .452 jacketed flat nose for hunters who deliberately choose mass, a broad nose and structural integrity.
What the 300-grain Heavy Hog load is built to do
The 300-grain Rhino is the heavier of Gold Country’s two .450 Bushmaster hog loads. Its broad flat nose, jacketed lead-core construction and 1,700-fps published-data reference create a purpose-built alternative to the ordinary polymer-tip and hollow-point choices that dominate the category.
- Heavy 300-grain .450 Bushmaster Rhino hunting load
- Broad flat nose designed for immediate tissue displacement
- Jacketed construction designed to retain structure through resistance
- Weight-forward option for demanding hog-hunting conditions
- Hand-swaged, small-batch Gold Country production

Velocity basis and rifle fit
The approximately 1,700-fps figure is based on Lee Precision published data for the applicable jacketed-bullet weight class. It is not a Gold Country chronograph result. Actual velocity and terminal performance vary with the rifle, barrel, components, ammunition lot and conditions.
Use only in firearms marked for .450 Bushmaster. Confirm cartridge fit, feeding, chambering and point of impact in the rifle that will be used.
