There are spotting scopes—and then there are Leupold Mark 4 spotting scopes.

The Mark 4 12–40×60 H-32 is not a range toy, not a “budget glass,” and not a multipurpose birding optic repainted for shooters. It’s a purpose-built tactical instrument designed for one reason:

To give shooters, hunters, and spotters perfect clarity when it matters most.

Forged from a lightweight magnesium chassis, armored against impacts, and fully waterproof and fog-proof, the Mark 4 has earned its reputation in the hands of military marksmen, LR competitors, and serious field shooters who demand certainty, not guesswork.

At 12×, it delivers a bright, forgiving image ideal for calling hits, reading mirage, and spotting trace. At 40×, it provides the fine-detail resolution needed to confirm targets, assess wind structure, and make the shot adjustments that change outcomes.

The proprietary Xtended Twilight Lens System enhances low-light performance—where most spotting scopes collapse into haze and color wash. DiamondCoat 2 protects the lenses while increasing clarity and contrast. Inside, a folded light path reduces overall length without sacrificing optical performance, keeping the scope compact—just 12.4 inches long—without giving up field utility.

The built-in H-32 reticle turns this optic into a true precision tool: for calling corrections, breaking down target structure, or spotting for a shooter at distance. Whether you’re verifying shots from an 1894 lever gun at 150 yards, working dope for a 6.5 Creedmoor, or calling wind for a .300 Win Mag, the H-32 gives you a disciplined grid to work from—something plain-glass spotters will never match.

If your shooting demands certainty, clarity, and durability, this is the spotting scope your partners will trust—because they know what’s riding on it.
