What problem this rifle solves

The Savage 110 Ultralite in 6.5 Creedmoor is for the hunter who wants to reduce rifle weight before adding an optic, mounts, sling and ammunition. Manufacturer SKU 57578 weighs approximately 5.8 pounds and uses a 22-inch PROOF Research carbon-wrapped stainless barrel.

This is the carry-first option in Gold Country Ammo’s lightweight 6.5 Creedmoor comparison. Its defining advantages are verified weight, an adjustable stock and a familiar four-round detachable magazine—not an unverified promise about what any individual rifle or load will do in the field.

Choose the Savage 110 Ultralite when

Keeping the bare-rifle weight below six pounds is a primary requirement.
You want an adjustable length of pull and comb height through Savage’s AccuFit system.
You prefer a 22-inch carbon-wrapped barrel in a right-hand bolt-action rifle.
You want Savage’s user-adjustable AccuTrigger and a four-round detachable magazine.

What the lighter platform asks of the shooter

Lower rifle weight can make a hunting rifle easier to carry, but it does not replace fit, a stable field position or verification with the ammunition you will actually use. Compare the complete field weight after adding the optic, mounts, sling and a loaded magazine.

Before hunting, confirm reliable feeding, establish a cold-barrel zero and record point of impact from the positions and distances relevant to your use.
