A purpose-built .30-30 hunting load when ordinary shelf ammunition is not the answer

Hunters still carry .30-30 lever rifles because they are quick, familiar woods rifles. The problem is finding ammunition built around a broad flat-nose hunting bullet instead of settling for whatever common factory load happens to be available.

Gold Country loads this 50-round offering with our hand-swaged 150-grain .308 Rhino flat nose: a jacketed lead-core bullet shaped for tubular-magazine lever rifles and medium-game hunting. It is made to order in small batches and normally ships within seven business days.

What the 150-grain load is built to do

This is the lighter, faster Rhino choice in our .30-30 line. Choose it when you want a flatter woods-rifle trajectory and quicker handling; choose the 170-grain Rhino when greater bullet mass is the priority.
