Some revolvers aren’t just built for power—they’re built for presence.
Ruger’s Super Blackhawk in .44 Magnum is one of the few wheelguns that can stand quietly in the hand and still feel mythic. Designed for magnum-level authority and old-world reliability, it has become a benchmark for hunters, outdoorsmen, and anyone who understands that single-action revolvers never really left the American landscape.

This example is the brushed stainless New Model Super Blackhawk, fitted with the classic 7.5-inch barrel—the configuration many consider the perfect balance of velocity, weight, and steadiness for hunting or long-range silhouette shooting. The stainless finish is clean and handsome, resisting the wear and weather that challenged its blued predecessors.

The revolver comes with its original yellow Ruger box, matching manual, and factory safety tag, a trio of details collectors rarely find together anymore. Condition is excellent throughout: crisp rollmarks, clean cylinder, sharp edges, and no signs of hard use. The black Ruger medallion grips complete the look, anchoring it in the lineage of Super Blackhawks that earned their reputation the hard way—through performance, not marketing.

Sourced from an El Dorado Hills, California estate, this revolver appears to have been stored with care and fired sparingly. It carries all the qualities serious Ruger collectors and magnum enthusiasts look for: condition, completeness, presence, and that unmistakable feel of a revolver built to last a lifetime.
