There are spotting scopes—and then there are instruments built for shooters who refuse to guess. The Athlon Cronus UHD Gen2 is Athlon’s flagship for a reason: it delivers a level of clarity, contrast, and low-light performance that lets you see truth, not impressions.

Whether you’re reading mirage for a long-range correction, verifying a group at 600 yards, or picking a buck out of evening shadow, the Cronus G2 reveals detail lesser glass simply can’t resolve.

At the heart of the system is an apochromatic lens array paired with UHD glass, engineered to eliminate color fringing and sharpen the edges of bullet holes, hairlines, antler tines, and steel impact splash. The oversized 86mm objective draws in light long after other scopes gray out, and the precision-cut prisms deliver contrast that helps your subject stand out from cluttered backgrounds.

The single-focus wheel runs on a finely geared internal track, allowing micro-adjustments that “snap” into perfect definition—no hunting, no drift. A 45-degree eyepiece reduces neck strain from long bench sessions, and Athlon’s XPL external coating protects the glass from dirt, oils, rain, and abrasion.

Fogproof, waterproof, nitrogen-purged, and armored for field life, the Cronus UHD Gen2 isn’t weekend gear. It’s the scope serious shooters graduate to when they finally want exact information—every time they sit behind glass.
