Why a Baseline Optic Belongs in the System

Every shooter starts somewhere.

Before dialing turrets, tracking data, or chasing long-range precision, shooters need to understand:

how magnification affects field of view
how reticles work
how adjustments change point of impact

The BSA Tactical Weapon exists for that phase.

It provides enough capability to learn—without providing cover for bad habits.

3–12× Magnification — Versatility Without Excess

The 3–12× magnification range supports:

close-range positional work
mid-range target shooting
basic holdover practice

At low power, the scope remains usable and forgiving.
At higher power, it allows shooters to see impacts and learn correction.

This range is about education, not reach.

Mil-Dot Reticle — Learn the Language

The Mil-Dot reticle forces shooters to engage with:

holds
ranging concepts
reticle-based corrections

Unlike BDC reticles that abstract the process, Mil-Dots teach shooters how adjustments actually work. That makes this scope particularly useful for:

training rifles
.223 and .308 platforms
early Shooter’s Edge exercises

Adjustable Objective — Understanding Parallax

The adjustable objective (10 yards to infinity) allows shooters to experience how parallax affects clarity and point of aim. This is a teaching feature—not a convenience—and helps develop awareness that carries over to higher-end optics.

Included Mount — Reduce Friction

The included one-piece Weaver-style mount removes setup barriers. Shooters can mount, level, and zero the optic without additional purchases—making it ideal for:

range rifles
training builds
budget-conscious setups

Less time assembling. More time learning.

Built for Range Use

The Tactical Weapon scope is fogproof, shockproof, and waterproof—suitable for regular range use and basic field conditions. It is not designed for hard duty or extreme environments, and it makes no claim to be.

That honesty matters.

What This Scope Will—and Will Not—Do

The BSA Tactical Weapon will:

support training and skill development
teach reticle use and adjustment discipline
function reliably in controlled conditions
lower the cost of entry

It will not:

compete with premium hunting or precision optics
deliver top-tier glass clarity
replace disciplined fundamentals

Its value lies in what it reveals, not what it promises.
