A recognized hollow-point design for .44 Magnum hunting and personal defense

A generic .44 Magnum load does not answer the most important buying question: what work was the bullet selected to do? This Gold Country load uses Hornady’s 240-grain XTP jacketed hollow point for shooters seeking a controlled-expansion design for hunting and personal-defense use.

It is a practical choice for deer, hogs, other appropriate medium game and woods hunting, as well as compatible-firearm personal defense. Gold Country loads the XTP in new Starline brass as a small-batch .44 Magnum cartridge rather than substituting an unspecified hollow point.

Why the 240-grain XTP

Hunting intent: a recognized controlled-expansion handgun-bullet design for deer, hogs and appropriate medium game.
Personal-defense intent: a jacketed hollow point selected for shooters who want expansion-oriented .44 Magnum ammunition.
Familiar weight: 240 grains is a widely recognized .44 Magnum weight for rifles and handguns.
Specified components: Hornady XTP bullet and new Starline brass.
