This Gold Country load moves beyond those common weights with a 200-grain .308-diameter Razorback bullet in new Starline brass. It is the lighter of our paired heavy-bullet .30-06 choices: a purposeful step above 180 grains without moving all the way to the 220-grain load.

Why choose 200 grains instead of 220?

Choose the 200-grain load when the problem is finding more bullet mass than the conventional .30-06 selection provides, but the heaviest option is not the goal. Choose the related 220-grain Razorback load when maximum bullet mass within this Gold Country pair matters more than staying closer to familiar .30-06 weights.

What the Razorback contributes

The Gold Country Razorback is a jacketed lead-core bullet with a rounded 6S-ogive profile. Its jacket and nose construction are intended to support controlled upset while retaining structure. That is design intent, not a guarantee of expansion, penetration or accuracy. Actual behavior depends on the completed load, impact velocity, target medium, shot conditions and the individual rifle.

Use only in a firearm marked for .30-06 Springfield. Confirm that every cartridge chambers freely, feeds correctly and fits the magazine before use. Establish point of impact in the rifle that will be carried.
