Description
Excellent condition — solid stainless-steel frame with only minor surface wear and no pitting or corrosion. Smooth double-action operation, sharp sights, and a mirrored bore with clearly defined rifling. Cylinder times perfectly and locks up tight on all six chambers. Includes the Pachmayr Presentation grip and the Hunter “Sidekick” nylon holster shown in photos.
Introduced in 1977 as Smith & Wesson’s stainless “Kit Gun,” the Model 63 is a compact, reliable .22 LR built on the J-frame. This is an early, pre-lock example with a pinned barrel — a production detail collectors watch for — and it carries the durability and field-ready character that made the Kit Gun popular for camping, training, and casual range use. The 4-inch barrel and long sight radius make this a great shooter and an accurate little target revolver.
