Description
Built for the Rifle That Chooses Its Own Node
Not every rifle settles cleanly at the same weight.
The 139-grain Razorback exists for shooters who have learned that barrel harmonics, dwell time, and seating depth can matter more than round numbers.
This bullet carries the same Razorback design priorities — structural integrity, delayed deformation, and straight-line penetration — while offering a slightly different mass balance for rifles that resist the 140-grain norm.
Why the 139-Grain Razorback Exists
The 139-grain Razorback is not a compromise weight.
It is a tuning weight.
It exists for rifles that:
-
group tighter just below 140 grains
-
stabilize more consistently at marginal velocities
-
prefer a slightly altered pressure curve
-
benefit from seating flexibility without compression
In real rifles, one grain can move a harmonic node.
This bullet exists for shooters who listen when their rifle speaks.
Serrated Jacket, Supported Lead, LD Geometry
Like all Razorback bullets, the 139-grain version uses:
-
a serrated copper jacket
-
lead carried fully to the nose
-
Long-Distance (LD) ogive geometry
This ensures:
-
deformation begins inside penetration
-
mass stays intact longer
-
directional stability is maintained through resistance
No polymer tips.
No fragile initiation.
Just structure doing work.
Controlled Penetration Across Variable Impact Speeds
This bullet is designed to:
-
penetrate straight
-
deform gradually
-
maintain a consistent crush path
It performs reliably across:
-
close-to-mid distance velocities
-
extended-range impact windows
-
mixed tissue and bone
It is not built for dramatic expansion.
It is built for predictable outcomes.
Hand-Swaged, Match-Quality Construction
Every 139-grain Razorback is hand swaged to ensure:
-
consistent jacket concentricity
-
uniform core placement
-
repeatable balance
Match-grade quality for shooters who test, tune, and verify — not guess.

Important Note:
These bullets are a semi-flat nose. If intended use is in a 7-30 Waters lever action rifle, you need to load one in the chamber and one in the magazine. Not recommended to fill the magazine due to the fact it is not a true flat nose bullet.
