Minimum OAL (overall length) is 2.26. Some firearm manufacturers choose to build their guns and or magazines to their own specifications and not to full industry standard SAAMI specifications. Some firearm manufacturers also recommend specific types of ammunition be used in some guns to help solve chambering problems. Make sure this round will fit your magazine and gun before you buy it. SAAMI maximum OAL is 2.26

If you are not sure, you should check your owners manual, call the manufacturer or gunsmith if it was custom built or take it to your local gun shop and have them measure and tell you the longest cartridge length that will work in your firearm. For handguns and semi-auto rifles you need to check the magazine specifications as well.
